Frequently Asked Questions
Enrolling your child in our MyChart system and linking their account with your own Jane Pauley MyChart account is the easiest way for you to request, receive and download the records you’ll need.
We recommend first, ask your child’s teacher or other adults that spend time with your child about their observations. Your child’s teacher won’t be able to diagnose ADHD, but it is important to know if your child is experiencing attention or behavior challenges in other environments and compared to other children.
Second, talk to your child’s doctor. It will be important to check for other causes of attention or behavior challenges. Your child’s doctor will be able to guide you into next steps, such as referring for a psychological evaluation or giving suggestions for improving the inattentive and hyperactive symptoms you are seeing.
