We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist join our dedicated Dental Team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality preventive oral healthcare, educate patients on good oral hygiene practices, and support the overall mission of improving community health.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Provide direct patient care, including prophylaxis, debridement, hand scaling, sealants, fluoride treatments, and radiographs.
  • Perform patient assessments, including charting, periodontal evaluations, and vital signs.
  • Review medical histories and document patient conditions, needs, and chief complaints.
  • Develop and implement individualized dental care plans under the supervision of a dentist.
  • Assist with dental emergencies, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
  • Set up, maintain, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment per established guidelines.
  • Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records and reports.
  • Support clinic operations, including patient reception, triage, and office duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Valid dental hygiene license (Indiana).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willing to complete upon start.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations governing dental outpatient services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
