OB/GYN & Family Planning Services
Offered at all Jane Pauley CHC Locations:
- Annual GYN exams
- Cervical cancer screening (pap smears, HPV testing),
- Breast health education & referrals for screening/diagnostic testing (i.e. mammogram)
- Other screenings, including osteoporosis, colon cancer & genetic testing
- Adolescent GYN care
- STD testing & treatments
- Pregnancy planning & prevention
- Contraceptive (birth control) education & management (call Location to confirm specific offerings)
- Preconception counseling
- Management of other conditions, including abnormal pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding (fibroids, endometriosis), PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), menopause and urinary conditions
- Immunizations
- HPV vaccine (Gardasil; ages 12 – 45)
- Covid vaccine for adults
- Influenza vaccine
- TDAP vaccine (recommended for prenatal patients)
These services are offered at our Shadeland Location (Indianapolis) and Anderson Location (Madison County):
NOTE: Our Shadeland location does NOT accept commercial insurance for services. Anderson accepts BOTH commercially insured and uninsured patients.
- Comprehensive prenatal care
- Ultrasound services
- High-risk pregnancy co-management with referral to Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)
- Genetic testing (blood draws)
- Postnatal care, including postpartum mood disorders
- Permanent sterilization
- Post-partum and laparoscopic tubal ligation
- Vasectomy referral
- Endometrial biopsies
- GYN ultrasounds
- Management of abnormal pap smears
Your OB/GYN & Family Planning Services also includes support with:
Primary Care
Well checks and preventative services, acute issues, chronic disease management and onsite lab services.
Behavioral & Mental Health
Individual and group counseling, consultations and assessments.
Pediatrics
(Newborn – 18)
Well-child checks, vaccinations, sports physicals, preventative and acute care.

Our Anderson Centering Pregnancy Program
For Pregnancy Care patients at our Anderson 1210B Location, we offer a special Centering Pregnancy Program.
During monthly or bi-weekly group appointments, you’ll get extra provider time and support from other expecting moms. All at no additional costs to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
We take Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance. We are also here to support our uninsured patients.
You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate for non-emergency services scheduled. Be sure to request at least three business days before your appointment.

We offer our own Sliding Fee Scale Discount on the cost of your services at JPCHC. Uninsured or underinsured patients can get 25%, 75% or 100% discounts based on your income.

Medicaid patients can arrange transport through your insurance at least
two days in advance of your appointment by calling Verida at 855-325-7586. (Learn more here.)
For Anthem HIP patients, see if options are included in your plan by calling: 844-772-6632.
For other patients, please visit your Practice Location webpage to see available public transportation options and ask us about a bus pass (if available) if you’re in need
If you’re not sure, please contact your insurance company directly to find out your office visit co-pay.
For self-pay, your initial visit fee is:
- $20 office fee for medical
- $30 office for dental
Then, we have sliding fee scale discounts available to help with your costs, based on your income.
No problem. We ask you to pay an initial office visit fee and can then provide services on a sliding fee scale based on your income (learn more). If you aren’t working or don’t have income, simply bring your ID.

Whether you’re a patient or not, you can schedule a FREE appointment with our Health & Outreach Advocates to help you enroll in most types of insurance. Includes temporary Presumptive Eligibility coverage, Hoosier Healthwise, Healthy Indiana Plan or other marketplace insurance.
