Jane Pauley Community Health Center to Provide Services within the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township

Indianapolis, IN – May 18, 2026 – Jane Pauley Community Health Center to Provide Services within the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township

The Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC) is proud to announce a new partnership with the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township (MSD Lawrence Township) to provide school-based mental and behavioral health services within a select number of schools.

These services will offer students support for a variety of challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Services will also include medication management and life skills programming. JPCHC staff will be integrated into 9 schools across the district, including early childhood, corresponding elementaries, day treatment, and the Advanced Academy.

This collaboration will also provide the opportunity for MSD Lawrence Township students and their families to connect with more resources provided by JPCHC such as primary and pediatric care, food pantries, dental and optometry services, insurance navigation, pharmacy services, and more at the conveniently located JPCHC clinics.

JPCHC has had much success with its established school presence in Alexandria, and Behavioral Health leadership are thrilled to expand this service line further and reach new groups of students.

Director of Pediatric Behavioral Health Services, Dr. Laura Yacko, shares the impact she’s seen, stating, “We’re honored to be selected as the provider of choice for these schools. We’ve seen the positive impact of our existing school partnerships, and our team is excited to expand these services to support even more students.”

“Removing barriers and increasing access to support services remains a priority for our district,” says MSD Lawrence Township Superintendent Dr. Shawn A. Smith. “This partnership with the Jane Pauley Community Health Center will help ensure students have access to the care and resources they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.”

These new school-based services at MSD Lawrence Township are a great addition to the existing, comprehensive behavioral health service line at JPCHC. All JPCHC sites offer a range of therapy and medication management services that are integrated along with other service lines, striving to provide accessible whole-person health services under one roof.
