Open Enrollment: November 1, 2025 - January 15, 2026
Make A Change to Your Plan:
- Medicaid / Healthy Indiana (HIP) participants can switch between health plans (Anthem, MDwise, CareSource, MHS, etc.) during open enrollment
- Marketplace participants can switch carriers or plans during open enrollment
- Uninsured individuals can choose a Marketplace plan during open enrollment
Details to Know:
- You can apply to Medicaid / HIP all year as your eligibility changes, not just during open enrollment
- When in doubt, talk to one of our navigators to see if you qualify. You might be eligible for more assistance than you think you are!
- Gather your documentation early and apply by Dec. 15 to have coverage by January 1
More Important Dates
NOVEMBER 1, 2025:
Open Enrollment begins. Make an appointment with one of our Community Resource Navigators to discuss your options, or make you changes to your coverage by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card.
DECEMBER 15, 2025:
Last day to apply for coverage that will start January 1. If you are moving between Marketplace and Medicaid / HIP, be sure to coordinate your coverage dates to not be double-paying premiums or have lapses in coverage.
JANUARY 1, 2026
Coverage starts for those who applied and paid their first premium by December 15. Open Enrollment is still open for anyone who hasn’t made changes yet and still wants to.
JANUARY 15, 2026
Last day of Open Enrollment! Gather your documentation and talk to one of our Navigators if you need help before this date.
FEBRUARY 1, 2026
Coverage starts for those who made changes in their plans or enrolled in a new plan during Open Enrollment and paid their first premium.
